J’evar is fiercely committed to the highest standards of social and ethical behavior and environmental stewardship. In contrast to earth-mined diamonds, where one carat requires disturbing approximately 100 square feet of land, J’evar’s jewelry making processes don’t disturb an inch of soil. And while the injury rate to human beings in earth mined diamonds is one out of every 1,000 workers, in J’evar’s lab created diamond operations, the injury rate is zero. We conduct audits in compliance with SMETA for labor standards, health and safety, environmental assessment, and business ethics with a core focus on social responsibility.
